Guys,

All the arrangements for the Awards Evening and Old Boys event are now finalised. Now is the next stage, getting your money!

The details are as follows:

Date - 12th April
Time - Old Boys game KO 1pm
Awards Dinner 7pm

Venue - Old Boys game - Niagara Sports Ground
Awards Dinner - Niagara Suite, Niagara Sports Ground
Pop Tarts, Sheffield Union

Cost - Current Players: up to £25
Old Boys: up to £55
Partners: £16.95

The cost for the current players includes a 3 course sit down meal, Pop Tarts ticket and pitch hire/venue hire. If any current players don't want a Pop Tarts ticket the cost will be £21.

The cost for the Old Boys includes the above plus a gameshirt. If Old Boys want the meal and Pop Tarts but no shirt it will be £25. If it's just the meal and game it's £21.

Partners is just the cost of the meal.

So for payment we need cheques from everybody ASAP so we can make the event work. Payment arrangements are as follows:

Current Boys:
Please try to bring cheques down this tuesday (11th) evening same time and place as practice usually is. If you can't make it we'll arrange a time and place to get it off you by the end of next week.

Old Boys:

I can't stress how soon we need these cheques from everyone, we have venues and shirts etc. to pay for.

This is the event of the year and you get to celebrate everything you've worked hard for and achieved, and you get to have a nice meal and get drunk with everyone. Partners are encouraged to come so please bring them along!

Can everyone post on the threads in the players lounge (current boys) and Old Boys Forum (Old Boys) to confirm they are coming and if you would like Chocolate Roulade or Treacle Pudding for your dessert. I also need to know if any vegetarians are coming.

Hello all - Elliott/Will, the cheques for myself and Rosie are in the post and winging their way to Sheffield as we speak. Both for the full £55 - I'm still number 58, and fatty is now rollingat number 45. I've put a little love note in with the cheques so you don't have to remember all this! Also, fatty isn't going to be playing becasue a) he's a big homosexual, and b) he got a little boo boo and slippeda disc in his back. What a queer.

Nice one Cheeks. Unfortunately already ordered Rosie's shirt as 65 but yours is 58. A slipped disc? What a girl, oh well, he's now a ref.

Quick question, as I can't be bothered reading all of the post related to this - is the dress code suit and tie again??

Also, which old boys are confirmed. Currently, I only know of me, Rosie and Courty for sure, and Rosie isn't even playing. Queer. Hopefully we pillage the Sabres for graduates and dish out a whooping, featuring the quadruple reverse, and many other stupid plays that work in the minds of drunken fools (and nowhere else).
