Good good, thank fuck for Pierre Thomas seeing as marion barber decieded to go from No.1 back to the IR. Does anyone know where these mysterious magig points come from? Are they from recalculation of sacks/tackles/fumbles or do offensive players sometimes get changed aswell

Well I don't know how it was decided - H2H probably, but according to this I will be playing in the consolation ladder.

Magic points are when they correctly award sacks and tackles. They look through the game and adjust the D stats. I don't think they do much to O, but occasionally will adjust yardage and forward/lateral passes etc. It's just correcting the stats.

Much like the mythical Dubious Goals Committee, which supposedly meets to decide who goals should be awarded to if it isn't clear on the day (eg own goals).

D'Qwell Jackson for 8 or less points to meet roxley.

As Gav so eloquently put, squeaky bum time again.

7pts.... if i don't get me some magic points that's the end of the road for team awesome

I was just getting used to the fact that the Superb Owl could be sat in my trophy cabinet this time next week...:'(

Oh well - Congrats Tim - good luck against the kiddie fiddlers....

it's been emotional....

PS how bad was my Cassel trade? has to go down as all time worse trade ever - was going to bench Finnegan as well for Newman until they started going on about his blurred vision....

and that damn T.O. 3pts??? 0pts for Jullius Peppers owned by a rookie LT and 3pts for Tackle Machine Pat Willis - Clearly my coaching skills do not extend into the playoffs

Bring on the Mange

ps Cassell and Faulk for Finnegan has to be the worst timed trade of the season.

Since the week of the trade, Cassell 105 pts, Faulk 68 pts Finnegan 26 pts. Brutal.

Well it would have been just too much for D'Qwell Jackson to bale Team Awesome out for 2 weeks on the trot.

My boys reacted to last weeks nailbiter with the worst score since the opening day so I'm playing for mid table in the Winners consolation ladder now, woo!

Right, as it would take magic points the likes of which never before seen to get Roxley out of that hole let me be the first to congratulate Tim on a fine victory.

12 wins on the bounce? Brutal!

Congrats Tim....
one more D'Qwell Jackson tackle last monday and the glory would have been mine :(

Have been doing some E-bay ing and found some suitably awesome Superb Owl - trophies and rings....

Tim pm me your address and I'll get these items shipped post haste

...and now all the fun of figuring out who to keep for next year... Anyone got any suggestions for limits and rules around keepers? any advances on the below?

Max 4, Max 3 offense and loose the round u drafted them, or if a waiver pick up loose last round pick

Conragulations tim, I was soundly done over in the final. I blame Jakes trade. I think we need to decide who's staying and who's going aswell

I came 6th overall, which isn't bad considering how many roster moves I had to do to get competitive. And if Kurt Warner had actually showed up on Sunday I might have come 5th.

Who's everyone looking at for keepers? I've got Randy Moss, Andre Johnson for sure, but it gets a bit dodgy after that. The Vikes D is a probable, then it's between Warner, Jonathan Stewart and Lendale White.

Bush, Cutler - I'm in two minds about LT so Vincent Jackson or Dwayne Bowe might sneak in.

Then on D, Lamarr Woodley? Great first half, but didn't get going again after a minor injury. Or maybe Jon Beason, tackle machine but don't think has a sack all season.

OR... do I trust either the Cowboys or Chargers D to get it back together next year?

dont fall for vincent jackson gav..hes been threatening to be a stud for the last few years..then he horribly underperforms for the first 12 weeks..

i reckon im keeping brees, rodgers,a peterson then a choice of roddy white or greg jennings..as my defensive players were gash..
